About SecurityProducts
SecurityProducts is a distributor of physical security hardware: video surveillance, access control, door hardware, and intrusion and alarm equipment. We carry parts, not projects, and we do not sell installation or monitoring to the site the equipment ends up protecting.
The name and the domain
SecurityProducts trades at localhost:4321. The two names do not match, and that is deliberate rather than a redirect, a rebrand in progress, or a mistake: the domain was chosen for distinctiveness before the brand name was settled by existing relationships. One company operates this site, at the warehouse address below, and no third party takes or fulfils an order placed here.
Who we sell to
Our target customers specify, resell, and install what we ship: channel partners and resellers who mark up and resell to their own client base, managed service providers adding physical security to a network stack they already manage, and installers and low voltage contractors buying for their own jobs. Every one of these is a trade account, and trade pricing is reserved for them. Anyone else is welcome to browse the catalog and check out at list price without an account. What we still do not do is sell installation or ongoing service to the business being protected.
What we do not do
We do not install. We have no crews, no coverage map, and no install add-on at checkout, including in our own home metro. Installation is the work our customers are hired to do, and we stay out of it so we never compete with the accounts we supply. We do not monitor alarms either. If a page or a rep ever implies otherwise, that is wrong and worth flagging.
Where we ship from
2876 S 460 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84115 is our warehouse and home base, in the Mountain time zone. It is a shipping origin and a will-call point, not a service area. We ship nationwide: to your shop, to a job site, or blind to your own customer with your paperwork in the box.
How we list product
Manufacturers set minimum advertised pricing on many of the lines we carry, so not every price can be shown to a signed-out visitor. Where a price cannot be displayed, you will see it in cart or on a quote instead of a placeholder. Availability comes from our own on-hand stock. A drop-shipped item shows a lead time, never an in-stock claim we cannot back.
