4MP LightHunter bullet camera with 40m IR, IP67, and a 120dB WDR sensor. Trade only, ships from Salt Lake City.

A fixed bullet for perimeter and approach runs, and the longest IR reach in this group at 40 metres. The bullet form factor is the honest choice where you need visible deterrence and a sunshield, and where nobody is going to reach it to twist it out of aim.

The sensor is a 1/3 inch CMOS with 120dB WDR and LightHunter low light processing, rated to 0.002 lux in colour. In practice that means it holds colour later into dusk than the Easystar tier does, which matters on a car park approach where a monochrome image loses vehicle colour.

Where it fits

Specify it for driveways, yard perimeters, loading approaches and anywhere the camera is above reach and the run is long. For a doorway or a low ceiling indoors, a turret or dome will look less industrial and vandalise less easily.

Common questions

How far will it actually identify a face?
The 40 metre figure is IR illumination distance, not identification distance. On a 2.8mm lens, identify distance is roughly a fifth of detect distance. Use the DORI figures on the spec table to place it, not the IR range.
Does it need a separate power supply?
No, it is PoE. Budget worst case draw per port on your switch rather than typical, because IR at full output on a cold night is when it peaks.
