4MP Easystar turret with published DORI figures, 30m IR at 850nm. Trade only, ships from Salt Lake City.

An Easystar tier turret on a 2.8mm lens, and the model in this group with the most complete published DORI table: detect 63 metres, observe 25.2, recognize 12.6, identify 6.3. Those four numbers are more useful for placing a camera than any other figure on the page.

Note the frame rate ceiling of 25fps rather than 30. On a fixed view that is invisible. On a till, a doorway or anywhere a hand moves fast, 30fps gives you more frames to work with when you are stepping through playback.

Reading the DORI figures

Detect means something is there. Observe means you can characterise it. Recognize means you could pick a known person. Identify means you could name a stranger. Most disputes need identify, and identify is 6.3 metres on this lens, so mount accordingly.

Common questions

Is 25fps a problem?
Not for coverage. It matters where fast motion crosses the frame close to the camera, such as a till or a turnstile. For those positions, spec a 30fps model.
